In the last week of December 2016, I decided to embark on a chicken endeavor. I decided to go the non-traditional route and bought rare breed chickens, that lay colored eggs!

They lay a variety of egg colors including blue, red, and green. I only feed the girls organic food and herbs from the garden as we plan to sell the eggs locally once they reach mature laying age.
